Good ideas & careful collaborations bring good results! With Fairy Nails Rhodes and my blogger friend Anna from Via Dell’Anna we picked out 4 of the most prevalent hair style trends from 2017-2018 catwalks – and we love seeing them confirmed in New York’s fashion week.

The greatest designers play with volume, accessories, choose low and quiet dos, braids and natural hair.

Trend #1: Sparkle up the volume by CHANEL

When Karl Lagerfeld makes the catwalk into a huge rocket making factory, for Chanel’s  Prêt-à-Porter show, hair ought to be at least impressive 🙂 But note the simplicity: the effect is created by volume with a daring accessory.

Trend #2: Slick Ponytails + textured accessories

We saw it at Loewe, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem, Tory Burch and many more who prefer hair clean, neat and low, with or without a piece of velvet, cloth or lace.

Trend #3: Braids with a twist

Everyone loves braids lately, but Balmain has made them fresh again, accumulating them in the middle or making them reverse, combined with intense tribal and ethnic patterns on clothes.

Trend #4: Side by Side by Max Mara

A look perfect for most face types, easy waves and brushed aside. Ideal for medium-long hair.

Love it girls! Great work! I always keep my hair tied up so my choice would be the ribbon. Lovely idea.
