From Pinterest to Apartment Therapy and from retail windows to decor magazines these are the hottest trends in decorating for 2017 and we absolutely LOVE them!!!
For Greek please go here
Graphic Pastel
Pastel has been a trend for some time now, and so have geometric prints. So their combination is very successful and beloved by interior decorators for a calm but also edgy look.
Flamingos
They are everywhere! From our swimsuits to our walls, these adorable little uglies have conquered our prints, office supplies and nursery rooms.
Flamingos pair really well with another one of the hot deco trends:
Greenery, cacti & tropical
Green is a hot color this season, and exotic prints & bold florals jumb out of catwalks settling on our wallpapers. You can easily update your home with a green vase or a set of emerald glasses for a completely up to date spring-summer look.
Remember the wooden lanterns and ceiling pendants form last summer? Well, they are here to stay and if you have them already, you are very good – if not, don’t worry, they are here to stay, you can get one for your balcony or living room now.
Marble
Instagram has made marble the best backdrop for flatlays and still photography and this trend is now overtaking our walls. More than just a solid material, marble has movement and flow, quality and strength. It is ultra chic and can also be relaxing and serene.
Muted, relaxing, peaceful colors
Dusky pink and anthracite gray mix perfectly well with another trend which comes from last year but seems to be still going strong, brass and bronze details.
The thing about trends (deco trends or fashion) is that you can choose the one that suits your style best or pick elements of each and create a curated, quirky home decor.
This image shows how you can combine some of the above for a personalised look that won’t feel staged but very individual and with a lot of personality:
What do you think? Will you be investing in some of the above or have you already decided on your spring/summer 2017 home look?
